# Tokenomics

The LetMeSpeak economy is designed to boost people's motivation for learning and their results.&#x20;

It is based on a **dual token model** where powerful game mechanics and balanced rules work together to create a new type of educational ecosystem, for a billion people.

LSTAR reward tokens drive and balance the economy inside the ecosystem.&#x20;

LMS Governance tokens distribute the rights to adjusting the economy rules, future development of the ecosystem, and governance over [Treasury](/economy/treasury.md). &#x20;
