# Technology for good

LetMeSpeak is a metaverse with a purpose.

We want to make it easy for anyone to make a difference to the lives of others by sponsoring them to learn English. There are many different contexts in which individuals or groups could have a beneficial impact, including:

* **Global philanthropy.** Sponsoring people who could improve their economic opportunities by learning a new language, especially those facing financial difficulties.
* **Sponsor people *****you***** care about and make a difference.** This could be to students at the university you went to, or people you met on your travels.
* **Increase employee professional skills.** Corporates could sponsor their employees to acquire new language skills. Read more about our [corporate partnership](/social-impact/corporate-partnerships.md) with Sitel in Brazil.

Learn more about our [work](/social-impact/philanthropy.md) with Iraqi refugees in Jordan and a [corporate pilot programme](/social-impact/corporate-partnerships.md) for Sitel, which has 140,000+ employees globally.

As part of our social impact work we are contributing to three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): No Poverty, Quality Education, and Reduced Inequalities.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://whitepaper.letmespeak.org/imagine-being-paid-to-learn-a-foreign-language/technology-for-good.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
